I am re-opened again! I had to take some more unexpected time off, but here we go!

I just made this bangle (that I love) by forming the sterling silver bangle and then wrapping it in sterling silver beaded wire in a design that is imperfectly perfect! This is something I have never done before and I would love to hear your thoughts.

Playing with copper...

I have finally re-opened my shop and added some new things! The copper cuff shown above is one of them.

I love experimenting with alternative metals, so today I took out a sheet of copper and went to work. I am very pleased with the finished product and I hope you are too!

Sorry, but this bangle makes me sing! I just love it!

I formed this bangle from solid sterling silver and then textured it all over by hand. The end result reminds me of a rough diamond. She just shimmers and shines in the light!

Wordless Wednesday

Dream of a little hope and love....

I love these sweet little charms. They are sterling silver and heart shaped and feature dyed fresh water potato pearls. I have pearls in cream, purple, mauve, and aqua.

I have hand stamped these hearts with DREAM, HOPE, and LOVE and have put some on sterling chains for sale in my shop. These are really fun because you can mix it up with whatever pearls or words you want!

Kitty OCD?

Yeah, that's what I said. My three-year old cat, Ginger, has OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder).

She meticulously over grooms herself to the point of baldness. So far she has licked away half the hair on her belly and legs, as you can see in the above photo. She did this before, about two years ago when we first brought her home from the shelter. Now here we go again.

It drives me a little nuts when I see her grooming herself to soothe herself, but nothing I do can make her stop.

The vet has given us some anxiety medication for her, but it is very difficult to give it to my highly stressed feline, she is a finicky one you see. We are still seeking alternative remedies, so if anyone reads this and knows of one, we sure would appreciate it.

Well, the weekend is already gone and Monday is here again. So much to do, so little energy.

My jealousy has been sparked by watching this sleeping cat. The only thing he has to do is get up to eat and then find a new sleep position. Oh to have that life!

No time like the present....

Actually, to me, time is a present. Fortunately for me, I spent all of yesterday cleaning my house from top to bottom. There is nothing left to be done. Nothing at all. Well, until it all starts over again, right?

So today is free day for me. Yes, I do need to run some errands and continue my starring role as wife and mother, but other than that it is STUDIO DAY!

I am very excited about this because, as you may have seen in my previous post, I attempted my first bezel setting. I can't wait to see if I can do it again! It is all I thought about as I was on my hands and knees yesterday, scrubbing the tile. Wooohooo!

If you know me, you know I love to just create.

And did I mention I am serving leftovers for dinner? Sometimes it is great to be me :)

I Tried Something New!

Here it is, in all its unpolished glory! This was my very first attempt at doing a bezel setting! Well, it might not be much, but I sure felt proud.

Now, I wonder if I can do it again?

Yay! I was digging through my box of goodies and I found these two rings! I have no idea why I never listed them, but I am now!

The top ring is my Queen Of Hearts ring, and it is a size 7. The bottom ring is a size 8.
